Minnewaska's Before School Program (BSP) and After School Program (ASP) are designed to be a safe, welcoming and enriching environment where children are able to be cared for before & after school and on non-school days. 

* Before School Program is offered at Minnewaska Area Elementary School from 6:30am - 8:00am ($5.50/day)

* After School Program is offered at Minnewaska Area Elementary School from 2:45pm - 6:00pm ($8.00/day)

School Age Child Care 2025-26 Parent Handbook

Programs are available for children in all day preschool through 6th grade that attend Minnewaska Area Schools. Bussing to the After School Program is provided for students in 4th-6th grade.

Attendance can be full-time, part-time or drop-in; however, the child must be registered online to attend.  Parents/Guardians are responsible for making changes to child's schedule.

An automated payment withdrawal will be made every two weeks.  A late fee of $10 will be charged for late payments.

If Minnewaska Area Schools is closed due to inclement weather or an emergency, there will NOT be any School Age Child Care offered.  If school is running two hours late due to inclement weather, Before School Program will also be two hours late opening at 8:30am.  Should schools close early due to inclement weather, After School Program will not be offered.
