Little Lakers Preschool provides children with a strong foundation for kindergarten through a balanced, play-based learning experience that supports the whole child. Our program is designed to foster social, emotional, physical, and early academic development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Aligned with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress (ECIPS) and local kindergarten standards, our curriculum integrates literacy, math, STEM, social-emotional learning, and creative expression. Children engage in a variety of hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities including art, music, sensory play, and both fine and gross motor skill development.

Our licensed teachers closely monitor each child’s growth and development, providing individualized support to meet diverse learning needs. Classrooms are inclusive and supported by early childhood special education professionals and related service providers when appropriate.

Little Lakers Preschool offers flexible scheduling options, including half-day and full-day programming, 2-, 3-, or 5-day formats, running from September through May. Families can expect a structured yet engaging environment where children learn routines, build relationships, and develop confidence as learners.

Through a combination of teacher-directed and child-led experiences, community connections, and family involvement opportunities, Little Lakers Preschool creates a meaningful early learning experience that sets the stage for long-term success.
