Junior Laker Dance: Grades K–1Youth RecreationJunior Laker Dance: Grades K–1 The Junior Laker Dance program offers youth dancers the opportunity to learn and grow in both kick and jazz styles. Dancers will gain skills in technique, teamwork, and performance in a fun and supportive environment. This session culminates in a performance to showcase what participants have learned throughout the fall season. Dates: September 10th – December 10th, 2026 (No Practice 11/26) Time: Thursdays | 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm Where: Central Square Cost: $100 per dancer Grades: K–1 Performance Shirt: Included at no cost Performance Opportunity: Show on December 10th Instructor: Kristen Glover Note: Jazz shoes are required but not included in the registration fee. Junior Laker Dance Competition Team: Grades 5–6Youth RecreationJunior Laker Dance Competition Team: Grades 5–6 The Junior Laker Dance Competition Team offers dancers the opportunity to further develop their kick and jazz skills while building confidence, teamwork, and performance ability in a positive and encouraging environment. This extended season includes multiple performance opportunities and the chance to compete against other schools’ dance teams. Dates: September 10th, 2026 – January 7th, 2027 (No Practice 11/26 | Practice Held on 12/29 During Winter Break) Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays Jazz: Tuesdays | Kick: Thursdays 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm Where: Central Square Cost: $225 per dancer Grades: 5–6 Performance Shirt: Included at no cost Competition Uniform: Thanks to the donation of gently used youth competition uniforms from a former dance coach, no uniform fee will be charged this season for youth dancers. Uniforms will be provided at no additional cost. Future fundraising opportunities are being explored to help offset competition-related expenses for families.
