Junior Laker Dance Competition Team: Grades 5–6 The Junior Laker Dance Competition Team offers dancers the opportunity to further develop their kick and jazz skills while building confidence, teamwork, and performance ability in a positive and encouraging environment. This extended season includes multiple performance opportunities and the chance to compete against other schools’ dance teams. Dates: September 10th, 2026 – January 7th, 2027 (No Practice 11/26 | Practice Held on 12/29 During Winter Break) Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays Jazz: Tuesdays | Kick: Thursdays 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm Where: Central Square Cost: $225 per dancer Grades: 5–6 Performance Shirt: Included at no cost Competition Uniform: Thanks to the donation of gently used youth competition uniforms from a former dance coach, no uniform fee will be charged this season for youth dancers. Uniforms will be provided at no additional cost. Future fundraising opportunities are being explored to help offset competition-related expenses for families. K-3 Fall Girls Basketball Skills and Drills Come learn the fundamentals of basketball, and work on your individual skills with your teammates! This camp will include skill work as well as age-appropriate mini games to grow your daughter's confidence on the court. Minnewaska Laker Dance Team Fall Performance Team Come join the Minnewaska Laker Dance Team Fall Performance Team! Participants will learn and perform in the dance genres of Hip Hop and Pom while building confidence, teamwork, and performance skills in a fun and energetic environment. Athletes do not need to be a member of the winter competitive dance team to participate. Participants will perform pom drill sidelines alongside the Pep Band and perform halftime routines at both football and soccer games throughout the fall season.
